Girard 2013 Napa Valley Petite Sirah

If you're into Petite Sirah that coats your mouth and soul, keep reading.

We've got a treat for you today from Girard Wines in Napa Valley.  My Fiancée and I are on a Petite Sirah kick so this one definitely hits home.

Girard Wines has been churning out juice for over 30 years.  Back in 1976, a panel of French judges raved over this stuff, and frankly pissed off some of their fellow winemakers back home for giving the Napa Valley wine such great reviews.  Check out Blake's review below...

Blake's Review

It's like France but ripe. Just kidding. This wine is Rustic (in a clean way); coffee and smoked notes fight with muddled blueberries for a gritty textured, medium-full bodied totally mouth coating wine. Those that don't like to chew their wines will like it less than me. Hopefully it will gain some depth on the mid palate. It's a killer value around $35 per bottle, pick it up here.
